Canberra SJAB
Moto: SJAB's motto is “ For The Service Of Mankind ”. As CCA is an integral part of students' school life, SJAB has planned and implemented suitable programmes consistent with our national educational objectives. We were actively involved in various first aid duties for Sports and Arts Festival and various uniform groups and orientation camps, Where we put learning into practices. Within the Zone 5, Canberra SJAB was involved in Flag day, Walkathon, Inter-Corps first aid and Home Nursing Competition where our Nursing Team came in second position in 2009. We also participated in a photo collage competition where the cadets achieved a Merit Award for their wonderful design. Besides these achievements, SJAB had a wide range of activities to stretch students holistically and to hone their leadership capabilities. Students were given opportunities to go overseas and be exposed to rugged activities like air rifles. With the high levels of commitment from students, officers and teachers, SJAB had managed to clinch the Silver Corps Achievement Award for two consecutive years in 2007 and 2008. NCO Camp
Good evening fellow cadets :Dfor those who are attending NCOC, our theory course is finally over! but that's not the end yet. There's still 2 more events left! Camp and Charity Fair. And this post will emphasize on NCO Camp. In case any of you missed out the details during the camp briefing today. Here they are! Date: 12th-15th December 2008 Reporting time on 12th Dec: 0800 hrs Dismissal time on 15th Dec: 1300 hrs Venue: Canberra Secondary School 51 Sembawang Drive Singapore 757699 (MRT, Bus 859/962, Taxi) *note to Canberra corps, we hope that you would bring your group to our school [: Attire: Full uniform In case your parents need to contact you for any reason, please ask them to contact your group instructors first. NCO Committee List Update

There is a training session this Friday, 14 November.Time: 8am-12pm Venue: CANBERRA SEC Attire: Full U Bring along 1.5l ice mountain and PT kit. **if you have reasons why you cannot attend, please notify Mariska, Sin yee or I (Peggy). But preferbly Mariska :D NCO And as all of those who attended the 2nd NCO course date, we all know we have been assigned homework. 2 pages of the NCO committee including their appointment and rank. so i hope if any of you know any officers appointment, grade and name, i hope you guys would share :D so tag it out! this is what i have so far. Mam Kah Sing: Logistic, G6 Sir Wilson: Standard Group A instructor, G6 Sir Chee Kwong: Standard Group B instructor, G6 i will update as soon as i receive more. Hello Cadets :D As for me, my favourite part of the whole NCO course was when the whole thing finally ended, Now for some updates. NCO For next week training , bring your PT kit and Full uniform , for the advance bring along extra unwanted shirt.NO FBT & ankle socks :) Have a happy holiday! |
